This is the fifth report in a five-volume series addressing how artificial intelligence (AI) could be employed to assist warfighters in four distinct areas: cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, wargames, and mission planning. These areas were chosen to reflect the wide variety of potential uses and also to highlight different kinds of limits to AI application. Each use case is presented in a separate volume, as it will be of interest to a different community.
