The Paris Agreement of 2015 set a landmark goal for the global community: achievenet-zero emissions by 2050 to hold the increase in the global average temperature towell below 2°C (UNFCCC, 2015). This ambition establishes a critical “carbon budget”for the next three decades, underscoring the urgency and scale of the actions needed(UBS, 2024). Within this framework, the real estate sector is identified as a critical areafor intervention, accounting for roughly 35 per cent of global carbon
